Intelligent environments is an interdisciplinary field encompassing variety of disciplines ranging from Computer Science, electrical engineering, architecture, material sciences, arts and design, social sciences, etc. However over the recent years, new and emerging technologies are starting to appear which will help to advance the intelligent environments area. Such emerging areas span the individual and interdisciplinary domains contributing to the intelligent environments area. The special session will bring together researchers from both industry and academia from the various disciplines contributing to the area new and emerging technologies. Such disciplines include, but are not limited to:

  • Computational Intelligence and Intelligent Environments.
  • Uncertainty Handling and Intelligent Environments Mobile Agents
  • Autonomous Knowledge and Information systems
  • Advanced sensor networks
  • Intelligent Agents and Dialogue Systems
  • Social sciences and Intelligent Environments
  • Artifacts Coordination  and Association Techniques
  • Music and Artificial Intelligence.
