Registration Information
Thank you for registering for IE 2010. Payment can be made by using Monash University Payment Gateway, which is a fully secure system, or via a bank draft or wire transfer. The registration fees and payment details are provided below.

Registration Entitlements
The conference registration includes the following (unless statured otherwise above):
Conference Dinner
For non-registered participants (those who are not registered), a ticket for the conference dinner can be purchased separately by the main registrant for MYR 200 per person. This should be done at the time of registration of the main attendee (this facility is intended to support partners of conference attendees that are not attending the main conference).
Copies of the Proceedings
One CD copy of the proceedings is included with each full registration (not included in the non-presenting students reduced cost package).
Payment Methods
Please note that at least one author per accepted paper must be registered by 25th June 2010 in order for the paper to be published. Payment for registration fees, additional conference dinner ticket(s) or proceedings can be made online.
Online Payment

Online payment can be made by using Monash University Payment Gateway, which is a fully secure system, with AMEX, Mastercard, Visa or Diners.
NOTE: Our online payment capture system accepts payment in Australian Dollars only (AUD) the payment system will calculate the conversion from MYR to AUD on the day the system goes live, and then the prices will be fixed at that rate thereafter.
Bankers Draft / Telegraphic Transfer Payment
You can make a payment with a bank draft or via wire transfer (details available from lee.sock.wee@infotech.monash.
Cancellations and Refund Policy
Cancellations must be notified in writing to lee.sock.wee@infotech.monash.
Cancellations before 25th June 2010 will incur an MYR 800 cancellation fee. Cancellations after 25th June 2010 cannot be accepted; however transfer of the registration to another person will be accepted.
All refunds will be paid after the conclusion of the conference.
Acknowledgements
If registration and payment are made through eCart, an electronic receipt is issued upon successful payment.
If registration and payment are made using a bank draft, a receipt will be available for collection from the registration table on day one of the conference; a scanned copy will also be sent to the payee via email upon successful processing of the bank draft.
Visas
International visitors to Malaysia may require a VISA or an electronic travel authority. A general guide to whether a VISA is needed by a visitor can be found at http://www.kln.gov.my/?m_id=53
Please be advised to apply for a VISA at least 2 months before you travel to ensure the application can be processed in time. It is the responsibility of the individual delegate to ensure documentation is correct and complete before your journey commences.
Insurance
Participants carry their own risk for personal injury or loss of property, including baggage, during the conference. We strongly recommend that at the time of booking your travel and tours, you take out a travel insurance policy. This policy should take into account loss of deposit through cancellation, medical insurance, loss or damage to personal property, and financial loss incurred through disruption to accommodation or travel arrangements due to business failures, strikes or other industrial action. The organisers are in no way responsible for any claims concerning insurance.

The conference organisers reserve the right to change activities, topics and presenters where necessary. Monash University shall not be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation of the conference where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The term "Force Majeure" means any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Monash University including but not limited to War, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), terrorism, aircraft hijacking, military operation, riot, civil war, rebellion, civil commotion or unrest, Acts or Regulations of government, refusal to grant visas, explosions, transport delays, transport difficulties and the insolvency of airline carriers. Monash University will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the conference despite the intervention or occurrence.
