Creative-Science and Imagine'14 are operating as an integrated event, with Imagine'14 being responsible for operating the a microSFP competition that runs throughout the period of the workshops and conferences.

Background Information

Workshops are an important part of the 'Intelligent Environments' event experience. You are cordially invited to submit a paper to, or attend, one of the following (use the links to get more information about a particular event):
  1. 9th Workshop on Artificial Intelligence Techniques for Ambient Intelligence (AITAMI'14) - Email: AITAMI@intenv.org
  2. 3rd International Workshop on the Reliability of Intelligent Environments (WORIE'14) - Email: WoRIE@intenv.org
  3. 2nd Workshop on Applications of Affective Computing in Intelligent Environments (ACIE'14) or within China use this link -Email: ACIE@intenv.org
  4. 2nd Cloud of Things workshop (CoT'14) - E-mail: CoT@intenv.org
  5. 1st Worshop on HyperRealistic Intelligent Environments 2014 (HyperRealitIE'14) - Email hyper@intenv.org
  6. 4th Creative Science (CS’14) workshop (and its associated free competition Imagine'14) - Email: CS@intenv.org
  7. 3rd Workshop on Future Intelligent Educational Environments (WOFIEE'14) - Email: FIEE@intenv.org

Sandpits (publicationless workshops) provide an opportunity for attendees to get some valuable hands-on experience doing things and delveloping their skills. Because they don't involve any publications, the are cheaper thaan workshops (see registrations costs). This year we are operating Imagine'14 as a sandpit what manages a microSFP competition. This competition is free to enter for all workshop and conference attedees. Latest News: The results of the Micro-SFP competition are now available on the Imagine'2014 website

In addition, this year the workshops will be integrated to the main conference via two events that bridge the workshops and conferences:

  1. An industrial forum – More details can be found on our Industrial Forum webpage but if you are from a company, and would be interested in exhibiting your products or giving a talk, please contact the workshop chairs by sending an email to wc@intenv.org
  2. An educational forum – More details can be found on our Educational Forum webpage but if you are  interested in exhibiting  or giving a talk, please contact the workshop chairs by sending an email to wc@intenv.org

Workshops and sandpits provide vibrant  forums for emerging areas, early research or applications to be discussed, explored or demonstrated. They are organised as half to full day events which run concurrently thereby allowing attendees, for a single registration, to access to all the workshops, sandpits and proceedings. This year we are operating Imagine'14 as a sandpit what manages a microSFP competition.

All papers accepted in the workshops program will be published as a volume of the Ambient Intelligence and Smart Environments Series of IOS Press (also ISI indexed) and electronically available through ACM Digital Library. The best papers will be invited for special issues of the the Journal of Ambient Intellince and Smart Environments, The Transactions on Furture Intelligent Educational Environments and the Intelligfent Buildings International Journal.

Important Workshop dates:

All workshops  will have the same deadlines for handling their paper sumittion and publishing process:

  1. Papers submission (all categories): 4th April 2014.
  2. Paper decision notification: 9th May 2014 (was 25th April).
  3. Final Version to be submitted by: 16th May 2014.

If you have any queries, please contact the workshop chairs below.
