Registration

Please note, Conference registration does not include workshops. If you are going to attend workshops, you are required to add workshop package to your registration.

With a workshop registration, you will not be able to attend the main conference. To take part in the conference, a conference registration is required.

IE’12 Conference Registration Information

Authors are required to register for the congress to present their work. Every submitted paper will require at least one registration. The maximum number of presentations allowed per registered participant is two. Presenting authors, participating co-authors, committee members and session chairs are not exempt from paying registration fees.

Conference registration includes:

• IE’12 Technical programme attendance From Wednesday 27 until Thursday 28 June 2012.

• Admission to the Plenary Talks and Parallel Technical Sessions,

• One copy of the Proceedings of the IE’12 (CD),

• Coffee-breaks,

• Lunch,

• Conference banquet.

Workshop registration includes:

• Workshop programme attendance on 26 June,

• One copy of the Workshop Proceedings (CD),

• Coffee-breaks on 26 June 2012,

• Lunch on 26 June 2012,
• Reception

Student Research Colloquium include:

• Student Research Colloquium attendance

• One copy of the Proceedings (CD),

• Coffee-breaks

• Lunch

Registration after 15 May 2012

* IEEE, IET or AAAI membership number should be provided.

** To claim the student discount, you are required to submit a copy of your student ID card.

‡ A full registration fee or reduced IEEE/AAAI member’s fee should be paid if student presents the paper. If you are the sole author attending the conference, then you have to pay the full registration or reduced IEEE/IET/AAAI member fee (Use P1 or P2). If another author of your paper has paid a full registration, then you are eligible for the student discount.

† Conference registration does not include the workshops.

§ Student research colloquium is only for one day. If you are going to stay for the entire duration of the conference, please register as a student for the conference (P3).

Extra Pages
If you paper is more that 8 pages for the main conference or more than 12 papes for workshops, there will be an extra charge for additional pages.

Extra Papers
One registration covers maximum two papers, subsequent papers linked by at least one author will be charged separately.

• Workshops: hotel (1 night), breakfast

• Conference: hotel (1 night), breakfast

Visas
International visitors to Mexico may require a VISA or an electronic travel authority. A general guide to whether a VISA is needed by a visitor can be found at http://www.inm.gob.mx/index.php/page/Paises_Visa/en.html. It is the responsibility of the individual delegate to ensure documentation is correct and complete before your journey commences.

Insurance
Participants carry their own risk for personal injury or loss of property, including baggage, during the conference. We strongly recommend that at the time of booking your travel and tours, you take out a travel insurance policy. This policy should take into account loss of deposit through cancellation, medical insurance, loss or damage to personal property, and financial loss incurred through disruption to accommodation or travel arrangements due to business failures, strikes or other industrial action. The organisers are in no way responsible for any claims concerning insurance.
